Tapestry Doula
Postpartum Doula Care
Sarah Orza PCD, CLE

Philosophy
Sarah believes that every birthing person and partner deserves access to unbiased and non-judgmental support, care and encouragement as they transition into their roles as parents. It is Sarah's goal to meet both the practical and emotional needs of the families she serves. Sarah aims to help integrate the new baby successfully into the family, while fostering parental confidence, in an intuitive, gentle manner.
Sarah's personal experience transitioning into parenthood led to an innate desire to support families as they make their own unique transition.
A few years after the birth of her eldest daughter, Sarah began working towards postpartum doula certification. Sarah spent much of her adult life as a professional ballet dancer, both with the New York City Ballet and Pacific Northwest Ballet. She now brings that same attention to detail, passion, focus and joy to the work she does with postpartum families.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys reading, cooking, gardening, and tending her flock of chickens! She especially loves enjoying the outdoors with her husband Seth, and their daughters, Lola and Stella.
